Alumni Files – Information is kept in the GAIL database, although some paper and microfiche backup files may exist as well. Vital data is documented, such as name changes, dates of birth and death, marital status changes, employment information such as promotions or announcements, questionnaires, parent/tracer information, and news clippings. Permanent files continue to be maintained after an individual’s death.
Disclosure of Information – In keeping with FERPA, only directory information will be released from the Constituent Management Team. An individual may see his/her file with proof of identity.
No information is released on records marked “confidential.” The Constituent Management Team will only forward requests for information to the individual alumnus.
